Products

We sell soap, skin care goods, ceramic wares, and related products. Product descriptions, ingredients, sizes, scents, and availability may change. We do our best to show products clearly, but color, shape, and finish can vary, especially with handmade goods.

Skin sensitivity

Ingredients are listed so you can make a careful choice. If you have allergies, sensitivities, or a medical skin condition, patch test first or speak with a qualified professional. Stop using any product that causes irritation.

Pricing and availability

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. We may change prices, offers, and product availability at any time. If a pricing or inventory error affects your order, we may cancel or adjust the order and contact you.

Orders

Submitting an order means you are offering to buy the products in your cart. We may accept, decline, cancel, or limit an order for reasons including suspected fraud, inventory issues, payment problems, shipping restrictions, or errors on the site.

Payment

Payments are processed through Shopify and its payment partners. You agree to provide accurate billing and shipping information and to keep your account information current. We do not store full payment card numbers.

Shipping

Most orders ship within 24 hours, except weekends and holidays. Standard U.S. delivery usually takes 3 to 7 business days after the carrier receives the package. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Once a package is with the carrier, delays can happen, but we will help where we can.

Returns

If it is not right for your skin, reach out within 30 days of delivery. We will suggest a better fit or refund your order. No restocking fees. To start a return or refund request, email summon@blackaltar.co with your order number.

Intellectual property

All site content, product names, photography, design, copy, graphics, logos, and other materials are owned by Black Altar LLC or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, or use our content without written permission.

User content

If you submit reviews, photos, feedback, or other content, you give us permission to use it for business, marketing, and customer support purposes. Do not submit anything you do not have the right to share.

Prohibited use

You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information, violate laws, or use our products or content for unlawful purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Black Altar LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

No warranties

The site and products are provided as available. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or that every product will suit every person.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page.
