1. What we collect

• Name, shipping address, email, phone (at checkout).
• Payment details (processed by Shopify; we don’t store full card numbers).
• Site behaviour via Meta Pixel and Google Site Kit (pages visited, items added to cart, etc.).
• Optional: content you share—reviews, photos, playlist suggestions.

2. Why we collect it

• To process and ship your order.
• To send transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping updates).
• With your consent, to send marketing emails or show you relevant ads.
• To improve site performance and product offerings.

3. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies for cart persistence, analytics, and ads. On your first visit you’ll see a consent banner—you can accept all, reject non‑essential, or manage settings anytime.

4. Sharing

We share data only with:

• Shopify (checkout, payments, order management)
• USPS (shipping labels)
• Meta & Google (ads/analytics)
  No data is sold to third parties.

5. Your choices

• Opt‑out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link.
• Disable or delete cookies in your browser.
• Request, correct, or delete your personal data by emailing summon@blackaltar.co.

6. Data retention

Order records are kept for at least 7 years (tax law). Marketing data is deleted 24 months after your last interaction.

7. Children

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we’ll erase it.

8. Future markets

We currently sell only within the United States. When we open Canadian shipping, this policy will be updated to reflect any additional requirements.
